Lillipop took the group out foraging. With her brother Ghost away roving there was no dominant male. But she still had her other brothers still in the group. Punker had taken sentry on a bush. After sometime, he finaly spots a rival gang. It was the much bigger Vivian. He gave the alarm.Sir Rock 08:29, January 12, 2011 (UTC)

Lillipop didn't have time for her brother. She snapped at him and pushed him away. Couldn't he see the Vivian were on the attack? Lillipop began digging at the group and jumping up and down with her tail raised into the air. The Vivian were a much bigger mob than the Zappa. However the dominant male was playing a trick on Ghost, everyone knows the Zappa were out numbers. Gothic had followed Ghost but they found themselves abushed by a group of ten Vivian males. But,Ghost has anther plan.He gathers the whole group together. 11 Vivian males against all 14 Zappa. The Zappa war dance. The Vivian males retreat for good. The Zappa had to decide what to do about the Vivian females.

The ten Vivian males rejoined the others. Vivi regrouped her 26 strng gang and they charged ones more at the 14 Zappa meerkats. Lillipop called for retreat. She didn't care how bad Ghost wanted to fight. The Zappa were out numbers and what was bad enough, two to the Zappa males were missing! Lillipop ran off back to their territory far away from the Vivian.
Punker had followed Gothic and the two were long gone from the Zappa and the Vivian. Punker could see no other meerkats group them. The found themselves in enemy territory however. Punker could smell the Lazuli. Sir Rock 09:03, January 22, 2011 (UTC)
Gothic climbed up on an old tree stump to het a better look. He didn't see the Zappa around nor the Lazuli, the owners of the Land. Unknowning to the Zappa males, the Lazuli had moved into Whisker territory. This place was absent of meerkats. Gothic and Punker wondered around looking for their lost mob. A lone meerkat was not what they were hopeing to find. It was Ghost. He scent marked them. Suddenly, 2 meerkats apeared. It was Sahara and Royal.Sahara finds Ghost and began to groom him. Gothic didn't stay with the two females becuase they smelled like the Lazuli, making them enemies. From the site of the dominant male ad the rest of the Lazuli, Gothic ran away back into the bushes. He wasn't interested in finding a mate since he and Punker were only nine months old. Gothic figured this was not where the Zappa would have gone. He looked to Punker for comfort. Punker groomed his brother before they headed out. They has losted the Lazuli but found themselves in Whisker territory. Punker was wary of the Lazuli female, Royal and he was not going to leave his brother's side. Punker decided it would be best to retrace their spets to find their way back to the Zappa. It wasn't Lollipop who eyed the rover first but Gothic. He gave the alarm and gave chase, however as he was running towards the rover over head he glanced a big hawk. He skidded to a stop and barked the warning of danger from a raptor. The Zappa turned tail and disappeared down a bolt hole leading the rover to find shelther else where. After a few minutes Punker was the first to have a look. The jackle was heading away from the meerkats' burrow. It appeared to have never seen them One by one the Zappa emeerged. Lollipop started making lead calls and lead the Zappa in the other direction away from where the jackle was heading. She however was taking the Zappa straight to Commando territory. Gothic found himself a scorpion to eat. He gubbled it down and sat up on his hind legs. He looked around quickly then went back to digging. Then he paused and looked up again. He gave a second glance and spotted another meerkat in the bushes. It was Crackle. Then Gothic spotted the rover's family, the Whiskers. The young males warned his family of the enemy mob near by. Pumpkin attacked Bee. The two females battled for a little while before Pumpkin got distracted by an alarm call. It was nothing but a Whisker male named Crackle barking abot Ghost who had returned. Lillopop soon gathered the family once everyone was out and warm. She took the group out foraging. She wanted to let everyone's wounds heal by taking the Zappa some where safe, so they wouldn't encounter any group. She took the group into the middle of the territory. Punker was distracted. Something was moving in the grass near by. It wasn't Zeus nor Crackle. It wasn't just one meerkat, it was many! It was the gang of Vivian males who had been chased away from the Whiskers only hours before. Punker started barking the danger. Lollipop heard Punker and came rushing over. The Vivian males reteated but hung around hoping females would mate with them. Lollipop had already mated with Zeus but she was still interested in having a mate to be her dominant male. However Lollipop didn't want the other females to mate with the rovers. She scent marked the other females and waited to see what would happen between the Zappa males and the Vivian males and the Commando male. Lollipop looked around and saw the Vivian males. The males seemed distracted now. Punker was still on his bush looking around. He followed their gaze and seighted what they saw. The Young Ones however were not interested in sharing a burrow. They wanted land. The Young Ones started war dancing at the Zappa led by Fu Fu. With the storm breaking it would be hard to find a new burrow and the Zappa were still recovering from their attack with the Whiskers. Punker looked around becuase nothing was being done. The Vivian males had disappeared since they had no gain in this fight. He didn't see the Commando rover either who must have reteated to find a bolt hole. Pumpkin followed her sister. She felt a rain drop hit her nose. Soon within minutes the rain came down and the sky had grown dark. The Zappa stayed close together so no one would get seperated. Gothic padded forward with his eye close to slits that he couldn't see so well. Then he tumbled down into a dark hole that was dry. Gothic had fallen into a bolt hole. Pimpkin pocke dher head in to see what had happen to him. The Zappa had a bolt hole to spend the night in. Pumpkin rejoined her family. The Vivian rovers didn't seem to be in this burrow. Pumpkin curled in-between Gothic and Joy and went to sleep. The thunder frighten Gothic. Pumpkin was first up the next day. It was still dark, cold and cloudy but the rain had stopped. Pumpkin tried to warm herself but there was no sun. Punker emgered and found the outside world colder as below ground. Punker looked around a saw his brother Gothic and Pumpkin. He joined the and waited for the rest of the Lazuli to emerge. Lollipop chased the rover away with the rest of her family backing her up. Lollipop was sorry to see him go but she didn't need a new comer beating up her family. The Zappa had to stick together inorder to survived the harsh Kalahari. Punker scent marked the territory along with Gothic, Ghost and the other Zappa males. Gothic ate a scorpion and then took up sentry. He looked around and saw everything was safe. Pumpkin dugged up a worm and started to eat it. Then Gothic jumped down and ran over to Pumpkin. He started making begging calls even though he was not a pup. Pumpkin igored him and kept eating the worm now faster. Gothic then grabbed the tail end ofthe worm and started pulling. Pumpkin turn away but Gothic kept following her. Before long she finished the worm. Pumpkin then wondered away and started digging again. She found a scorpion. The meerkats were rovers from the Lazuli. Subaru was looking at the group from afar. He hadn't made a move yet but was debating on what he should do. It wasn't Subaru who the Zappa notice, he wasn't moving, but it was Padfoot. He has also left to rove with Subaru. Since his other brother was not moving, he made his move. He ran about in and out of bolt holes and under bushes in an attemp to confuse the Zappa. He was helped his brother out but distracting the Zappa so his brother could make a move. Subaru bite Ghost on the nose before he took off running. He rejoined Padfoot to continue roving. They left the area and went to the Commandos instead. Lollipop had watched the whole thing. She hip slammed her broher Ghost, even though that is something only dominant female do to suboritante females. Lollipop was unhappy with her brother driving off all the rovers. Little did Punker know there was a rover nearby with his eye on Emo. It was Fido. At first Emo could'nt care less about the rover. But after a bit of tender grooming Emo can't resist. Lollipop spotted the two. She started barking and gave chase after the rover and Emo. Punker followed and chased Fido away. Lollipop attacked Emo and bite her on the tail. While the group was distracted, Tryan appeared. He spotted the lonely Pumpkin at the agde of the group. He waited for Pumpkin to see him behind a bush before the Zappa returned. Pumpkin spotted the rover. Before anyone notice she slunk off to meet him. After her lost chance with Subaru she didn't want to be seen. She joined him behind the bush. Gothic had joined the chase with Punker and helped see off Fido. Gothic looked around and spotted another meerkat. It was Fido's roving buddie Rovers and Grubby Pup. Punker chased Crackle off assumed he was with the Young One males. Then he joined Gothic and Lollipop in their chase against Rovers and Gubby Pup. Lollipop had followed Crackle's scent to the Lazuli burrow. She spotted the burrow with one babysitter, Buttercup, who appeared injured. Lollipop led an attack on the rival gang. The Zappa swarmed the Lazuli burrow. Pumpkin had located one of the pups. She picked it up and carried the small day old pup out of the burrow. Pumpkin wouldn't allow any of the other Zappa near her prize. She carred the pup far away from the action taking place at the Lazuli burrow. Gothic had gone down into the burrow and he and Ghost had found Crackle and Royal. Lollipop took the pup from her brother. She ran off towards the burrow but she soon dropped the pup. She spotted the Vivian chagring towars them. Lollipop only had seconds to decide what to do. She called for a retreat and ran away abandoning the Lazuli pup. The Vivian swarmed the burrow where the Zappa had once been. Cinderella found the Lazuli pup abandon by the Zappa. After fleeing from the Vivian, Gothic turned and looked around. It didn't seem like the Vivian had followed the Zappa. The day was almost done and the Zappa needed from foraging. It was a few hours later after the encounter with the Vivian. Ares, a Commando male, appeared at the Zappa. Gothic spotted him and gave the alarm but the Commando male had disappared. Lollipop spotted the Commando male on the other side of the Zappa. She wondered off away from the Zappa to go mate with the Commando male. Ares seemed better then Zeus the other crazy Commando male. Little did Ghost know Lollipop never concieved a litter from Zeus. Lollipop watched her brother scent mark the area pointlessly because Ghost didn't even know Ares was there. The rover had left the Zappa a long time ago so she didn't understand what he was doing. She had groomed herself of the Commandos scent. Lollipop started making lead calls and led the Zappa home. Lollipop groomed her sister Pumpkin before she went to bed early. Punker was one of the last to Zappa to go to sleep. Lollipop emerged and sunned herself along with the others. Punker was the last up and he sat next to his brother Gothic. As soon as the Zappa were warmed up, Lollipop led the group our to forage. She brought them to river and in the middle was a small stream from the rain. Lollipop quickly ate a small lizard and took up sentry for the group. Emo was still weak from Loolipop's atack she got for mating with Fido. On top of that Royal had beaten her up when she tried to kill Sahara's pups. It was unclear if Emo was carrying Fido's pups. Pumpkin wasn't foraging but had taken up sentry. Emo was distracting her from her job so she ingored her and moved away. Emo was old enough to get her own food. Pumpkin climbed a bush and started looking around. She didn't see any danger for now. Gothic dug up a big black millipede and started to drag it on the sand. He carried it away to eat it in peace before someone else wanted to steal it from him. After he finished it off her heard Pumpkin barking. She had spotted a hawk. Lollipop followed Gothic along with Punker. They waited for a few moments before Punker looked outside. All the Zappa had disappeared in the many bolt holes nearby but the hawk was stil circling. Not all of the Zappa didn't follow him however. The Zappa meerkats in a differant bolt hole than Ghost remained in their shelther. They thought the hawk was still outside because Ghost gave an alarm. Lollipop crawled to the back of the bolt hole and stayed there. Punker stuck his head out of the bolt hole an dlooked around. He didn't see Ghost nor a hawk but he was too fighten to come out. Pumpkin was with Ghost and the few meerkats who had followed him. Pumpkin was confused when Ghost gave an alarm call when there was no danger but she followed him anyways. She jumped up on the troff and started to drink water. She lost her grip and fell into the water. She quickly jumped out and shook her fur. Meanwhile, Gothic had stayed with Lollipop, Punker and a few other meerkats. They heard Ghost barking and thought he had seen more danger. After a while Gothic came out and saw no danger. Lollipop came out of the burrow after she didn't hear anything from Gothic. She looked around but saw no other Zappa. She was left with only a few meerkats. Punker climbed an old tree but even at this high he couldn't see the missing Zappa members. Punker climbed back down and rejoined the small group. Pumpkin did not want to fight the Lazuli since she was with very few Zappa meerkats. As soon as she spotted the Lazuli, Pumpkin turned tail and run in the opposite direction with the few other frighten Zappa behind her. Pumpkin and the five meerkats who followed her had lost Ghost and another meerkat. As soon as the Zappa spotted the larger Lazuli she had called for a reteat. She knew there was no way the seven Zappa meerkast could fight the much bigger group. She still had Emo in her group though. Pumpkin looked around but she did not see her brother. She began heading farther into Zappa territory. Soon she saw another meerkat and at first she thought it was Ghost. As she led the group closer to the meerkats it became clear it was not Ghost or the other missing meerkat becuase this meerkat was a male and mush slimmer than Ghost. It was Ares the Commandos rover. Gothic spotted a roving male eying the Zappa's females and gave chased. He focused all his attention on chasing after the roving that he didn't notice how much distance he put in-between himself and the Zappa. Then he saw another mob nearby. Well Joy was old enough to mate but Ares ignored Ghost. His attention was else where at the moment. He spotted another mob over the dune, a bigger one. He headed for the other group with more females. As he drew closer he noticed he had been spotted by a Zappa male. He ran away Gothic stopped chasing him and was barking an alarm. The Zappa were wardancing a rival gang that disappeared into a bolt hole. At Gothic war danced closer it became clear the rival mob was infact the missing splinter group. Pumpkin had put herself at the entrance of the bolt hole to fight off their attackers. The first meerkat who came down she snapped at but soon realized this meerkat was Gothic. Lollipop didn't follow Ghost home. She didn't know why he was so eager to get home. The group just finally rejoined. She scent marked everyone so every meerkat knew they were a famliy of Zappa. Lollipop rejoined the group after mating with Ares. She didn't know where Ghost was but she wasn't concerned about that. She didn't know he and a few members had split away again and gone back to the burrow. Lollipop started making lead calls and headed away from the old burrow. It was time to move to a clearer one since they had been at their old burrow for over a month. With new pups on the way they needed to move now. The Zappa muoved farther and farther away from the old burrow over two miles. Finally Punker located a new burrow that was clean and safe. The Zappa settled in for the night here. Gothic attacked Zeus because he was an enemy. To Gothic, Ghots seemed to be losing his ability to lead and make resonable decisions. Gothic drove out Zeus from the small gang. Gothic didn't understand why they were fighting for dominance when there was no group to be dominant over. Gothic helped Ghost attack the Commando rover. He grabbed Zeus front behind while Ghost had him from the front. Then he heard an alarm but it was not from Emo. From the corner of his eye, Gothic saw two Young Ones sentry barking. The Young Ones were charging at the Zappa meerkats. Gothic let go of Zeus and ran hoping Ghost and Emo would follow him. The Three Zappa meerkat didn't stand a chance against the whole Young Ones gang. Meanwhile, Ares had shown up. He watched the Zappa meerkat flee then he spotted another. At first he had hoped for another female to mate with but when he got closer, he discovered it was his older brother Zeus. Lollipop ermerged from the burrow the next day. One by one the Zappa meerkat emerged from the sleeping clambers and stood in the sun. Lollipop notice the three missing meerkats had not yet rejoined to the Zappa. She became worried becuase Ghost often roved which would explain his absence but there was no reason for Emo and Gothic to be missing. Gothic never went anywhere without his brother Punker and Emo was a female, so she wouldn't be roving. Lollipop led the group out to forage near where she last saw Ghost, Emo and Gothic. Punker also hoped they were still nearby and could be located. When they arrived there was no sigh of the three missing meerkats. Punker climbed on a tree to look around for Gothic and Emo. Lollipop looked around on her high post, a small tree. The tall grass made it hard to see any missing meerkats. Punker already had taken more action in looking for his missing family members. A head popped over the grass and Punker saw a familiar face, it was Emo. Punker quickly dashe dover to her and he discovered Gothic and Ghost. Padfoot watched the Zappa from a shaky bush. He followed the Zappa a few hundred feet behind, foraging along the way slowly catching up to the group. When he got closer, he noticed he could not spot the dominant male. He laid under a bush and watched the mob for a little while. Padfoot moved close towards a group of females Pumpkin, Joy and Emo but as soon as he got a few feet away, Padfoot saw Ghost and Hooligan returning. Pumpkin took up a sentry post on a log. She soon spotted the Vivian mob off in the distance. They were far off and hadn't seen the Zappa yet. Pumpkin started barking the alarm. Lollipop saw the Vivian in the distance. The Vivian had more adult members than the Zappa however the Vivian were moving at the edge of both territories. Lollipop watched the Vivian meerkats as they moved in the grass far off. The Vivian soon moved out of sight beyond the dunes but the Zappa remain tense. Pumpkin and Gothic followed Lollipop away from the Vivian. Padfoot wandered off after the Vivian leaving the Zappa. Gothic heard something over head and spotted a big bird. It was a hawk! Lollipop emerged from the bolt hole looking around for the hawk. The Zappa had been hidden for a few minutes forcing the hawk to look for easier prey and flown off. Lollipop gathered up her Zappa meerkats and made a bee line for home. When the Zappa had Lollipop went below ground to be with her pups. Punker soon followed his brother out of the burrow. Lollipop was up next and she scanned the sky for any sign of danger. Today was a special day. Pumpkin's pups were going to come out for the first time. Everything had to be safe before the pups could emerge. Punker climbed a next by bush so he could make sure everything was safe. Once the Zappa were sure there was no danger the pups were allowed to come out. Pumpkin's three tiny pups crawled out of the burrow into the sun for the first time. Pumpkin was frighten. She smelled something strange in the air. She won't join Ghost. She climbed a fallen tree branch and looked around. She spotted a rather rest lion kill laying only a few feet away. Pumpkin looked around for any sign of the predators who had made the kill. She didn't feel safe here at all. Lollipop spotted a lion under a tree that hung over by a large bush. The female lion was almost impossible to see. Then Punker spotted two more lions, one big male and one female. Gothic spotted three more lions with two cubs bring the total number up to eight lions. Gothic and Pumpkin followed Lollipop away from the big predators. Lollipop hurried along but kept checking to see if any Zappa had gotten left behind. So far all the Zappa meerkats were with her. Punker and his brother were bringing up the rear and making sure no one got left behind. When the Zappa were a half a mile away Lollipop felt safe. Pumpkin picked a spot on a twiggy tree to keep post over the other forgaing Zappa. Gothic started foraging in the dirt. He found himself a worm to eat. Pumpkin looked around from side to side ever few seconds. She saw no danger. In the distances she spotted some ostrids. If they wer calm then that ment everything was safe. After just escaping the lions, Lollipop was not ready to face off against a snake. Lollipop bobbed her head up and down sizing up the snake. It was a pretty big cobra and a deadly one. Lollipop decided it was safer to just leave the snake be than risk anyone getting bitten. Lollipop began to make lead calls and headed towards home. Pumpkin didn't want to get bitten. She had pups to think about. They depended on her so she followed Lollipop. Gothic also followed Punker who had followed Lollipop. Gothic stood up on his hind legs and looked around and saw Joy and Emo near by and Ghost a little farther off. He turned and saw Hooligan with the other meerkats. Lollipop was distracted by something in the air. Punker looked up and started barking. A hawk was circiling over head. The Zappa scather to the nearest bolt hole. Lollipop rush to a bolt hole and hid along with Joy, Emo, Hooligan as a few other Zappa meerkats. After a few minutes Lollipop emerged slowly and looked around. Punker was first out of his bolt hole, Gothic, Pumpkin, Ghost and the rest of the Zappa were with him. Lollipop looked in a tree and saw the hawk pecking at its prize. The cobra dangled under the hawk dead. Lollipop started making lead calls. It was not long before the Zappa reach the burrow. Lollipop found all seven pups were still alive and well. Pumpkin cleaned out the burrow's front door making way for the pups. None of the pups were allowed out till the Zappa made sure all was safe. Gothic looked around scanning the skies for any sign of danger. He then looked over the ground making sure there were no snakes or jackles. The coast was clear. Lollipop watched as the pups made their way out of the burrow. Pumpkin's three pups were two weeks older then her own so they were out first. Lollipop's pups would need another week or two but the flees were started to become a problem in the burrow. Punker scratched his ear then his side and back to his ear. Lollipop knew a burrow move was dangerous but the flees were getting to everyone. She went below ground and started bringin out her pups. She carried one o her pups and started making lead calls. Pumpkin kept spotting to make sure her pups were still with the group. She notice there were only six pups when there was suppose to be seven. Pumpkin down the pup she was carrying and franticly started looking for her missing pup. Gothic put his pup down next to the the other pups and joined Pumpkin search for the missing pup. Punker heard the sound cries of a pup. He put his pup down with the other by Joy and headed towards the cries. He wandered a few feet away from the Zappa and discovered the smallest of Pumpkin's pups strungling to keep up with the mob. Punker picked up the pup and carryed it back to the others. With the pup found Lollipop conintued the burrow move. She took the group a half mile away from the old burrow. There they found a new home. Punker went below ground with a few other meerkats and determine it was safe. Lollipop moved her pups into the new burrow while Punker started to clean out the front door to make it like home. Pumpkin laid on Tiny to protect him untill the hawk had flown off. When the hawl was out of sight she licked Tiny on the head. Gothic looked for any sight of danger but he didn't see any pradetors or rival gangs. He however did spot a small group of yellow mongooses wandering near by as well. Pumpkin followed Lollipop with the Cammandos close behind her. Pumpkin felt something clip her feet and she tubled over. Gaia was on top of her attacking the Zappa female. Pumpkin fought back biting Gaia on the nose. She managed to wiggle out from under the Cammando female and ran for it. Gaia allowed her to flee and started scent marking. Pumpkin managed to catch up to the Zappa. He had a scrap with a Commandos female but she got out of it with only a few scratches. When Lollipop was sure the Commandos were gone, she started leading the Zappa back towards the burrow. The encounter was close but everyone got away fairly unharmed. When the home repairs were done, Lollipop allowed all the pups emerged from the burrow. First up were Pumpkin's pups, Tiny was the last out and then Lollipop's four pups. This was their first time out in the day. Tiny was around the same size as Lollipop's two week younger pups. The pups would still have to stay at the burrow till their were all strong enough, much to Tiny's delight. The light of day blinded Candy. She had to squint her eyes to see. She had never seen sunlight before and had never been outside of the burrow beside the burrow move. Candy moved forward sand soon found herself in the shadow of Gothic who was standing on the burrow’s front door keeping watch. Pumpkin began to call her pups over to her. Lollipop lead to lead the group out to forage and whoever was the last meerkat out would be the babysitter. Lollipop picked a place in a ravin to forage. There was still some water left over in a puddle at the middle. Punker took a sentry post on a small tree. Around foury-five mintues later he spotted the Commandos! Lollipop heard his calls and saw the rival gang. The Zappa spotted the Commandos first before they saw the Zappa. Lollipop gathered her Zappa and had to decide whether to flee or fight. The Zappa actually encounter the Commandos the day before. Pumpkin stood looking around and dashed off into the bushes. She was fighten of the Commandos. The Comamndos had all their members while the Zappa were missing seven pups and a babysitter, so they were out numbered. Gothic hesitated but then he saw that the Commandos were retreating. Pumpkin knew best and stayed out of her sister's way. The pups were starting on their solid food diet for the rest of their lives. Although Pumpkin soon would be ready for mating again, she didn't want to be evicted by Lollipop. Besides she still had to care for her current pups. Pumpkin curled up with Tiny untill the Whisker male left the Zappa alone. Gothic scent marked a bush and returned to the group. Lollipop looked around but she didn't see any rival meerkats. She didn't even see a mob. She only saw Budge and Butch. There was no rival gang but Hooligan had disappeared with some of the pups. Gothic saw Hooligan go for a bolt hole and showed Lollipop the way. Pumpkin rushed over and picked up her one of the pups. Candy also had not gone with Hooligan becuase she had been begging from Emo. Candy sound heself a scorpion under a bush but she never took on live prey before. She had seen the adults bit the tail off before eating it. Candy pawed the scorpion, being careful of it's stinger. She nipped at it but got a pinch to the nose. She squeaked and jerked back. She moved around the scorpion and pawed it some more till she held it down. Gothic ate his fill of worms, grubs and scorpions and he was full. He took a sentry post for a hour but today he was not content. Pumpkin foraged for herself now first. Punker would have liked to just rove with his brother but there was nothing he could do. Not long after the three Zappa males had left, a signal Commando male appeared. It was Hades. He climbed a shakey bush and looked around. He spotted the Zapa foraging in the distance and stubbled off his perch. He made his way slowly towards the Zappa, zig-zagging from shrub to shrub. Pumpkin noticed Emo's sudden return but she was busy with the snake. The snake had cornered itself in a bolt hole and so there was no way an eagle could get it. This was the meerkats problems. Lollipop grabbed Millie and drug her away. She was still a juvenile so snake venom could kill her faster then an adult. Lollipop could do nothing and hoped it was a dry bite for warning. Tiny was smart enough to stay back and waited for the family under a bush by Emo. Finally Lollipop decided it would be better to just leave the snake in its hole and move on. Pumpkin followed her sister away from the snake. She could do nothing for Millie, if she even got one drop of venom she would die. Cape cobras killed adult meerkats so a young juvenile didn't stand a chance. All Pumpkin could do was stay near her daughter. Candy joined the females, her eyes darting around. First up there was a car on the road and Lollipop and Pumpkin had taken shelter in a bolt hole. Obviously he couldn't see they danger the Zappa had. Gothic was standing on the other side of the road near where Crackle was and he took shelter in the bushes. When he heard Vrunner he came back out and chased after Crackle. Gothic was one of the best sentries the Zappa had and Vrunner had spotted Crackle first. Even from afar a meerkat could still spot another when they are not close to them, they were good at spotting predators after all why not rovers. Lollipop was pretty freaked out by the car that mating was the last thing on her mind. Lollipop emerged after hearing Vrunner's call. Angel padded up to Vrunner, her littermate. She saw an elk galloping towards her, and scampered off again, jumping onto it and biting it swiftly on the neck, killing it. Gothic helped Punker and Lollipop see off Crackle. Then he rejoined the group to see what Angel was barking about. Lollipop was confused by what Vrunner and Angel were doing. Meerkats don't eat elk, infact they don't even know what that is. There are no elks in the Kalahari but meerkats only stand a foot tall so they wouldn't be able to kill one. Lollipop thought her meerkats were going insane. Gothic and Pumpkin joined in and helped Lollipop out. They made spit calls at the rat snake. It was smaller then a cobra or a puff adder and easilly scared off. Lollipop wanted to fight. The Zappa had more members with them while the Lazuli were down by eight members back at the burrow while the Zappa olny were missing one because Emo fled. The Zappa more members with them. Lollipop started to wardance at the Lazuli. Punker watched Emo go knowing she was better off to not risk her pups. He joined Lollipop along with Tiny. The Lazuli retreated. Millie stumbled over to Ghost. She had been badly beaten by Cactus. She had cuts and scrapes on her face. The Zappa had splinter again, Lollipop and most of the group had remained in at the battle scene longer while Ghost, Millie and Emo wondered off. Pumpkin followed Lollipop’s example. She scent marked the bushes and rocks. Gothic joined in and scent marked a tree. He franticly rolled in the dirt trying to cover the scent of Lazuli. When Lollipop was sactisfied with the scent marking she started making lead calls for the group to head back to the burrow. When they returned and started to settle down for the night, Punker notice he didn't see Ghost but assumed he had gone roving again. He also didn't see that Emo was missing as well and assumed she was below ground in the burrow. Lollipop at the top of the burrow but she hadn't notice the mssing meerkats. Over at the Zappa burrow Pumpkin was first up. She started digging out the entrance to the burrow. After several Zappa members emerged Gothic made an appearance next some time later. He waited for his brother Punker. Gothic scanned the the mob but didn't see his sister Emo. He assumed she would still be underground with her pups. Punker followed Vrunner and Gothic to go roving. Along the way he spotted another mob and wondered off to see if any of the females would mate with him. However as he got closer he soon smelled a fimiliar scent. Punker had located the Zappa splinter group. After several hours foraging, Lollipop started to lead the group in another direction away from the old burrow. She noticed that Ghost, Punker, Gothic and Vrunner were missing and assumed they were roving. Since Millie and Candy were no longer pups and no longer begged for food, she hadn't notice they were missing as well. Tiny followed behind Lollipop as she led the group to a new clean burrow. Gothic barked at Millie to stop because this was not the Zappa but the Vivian mob and that was another jackal. Gothic did not got with Millie and he instead headed in the opposite direction. Gothic put the pup down and gave up on Emo. The Zappa had moved burrows and this was the old one. He had been with the Zappa when they moved burrows so he knew they would not come back to this one. It was too difficult to get the splinter group moving with so few adults and to young of pups. The spinter group would have to spend the night here and look for the main group tomarrow. While the Zappa were already up, the splinter group was making a late start. Candy wasn't sure what to do. It had been injured in the fight between Ghost and Hermes because Ghost wouldn't let someone esle carry the pup like Gothic. Candy didn't know how to help it. Emo was nervous. With every passing day, she has less and less milk. She needs to eat. Emo dug up a grub near the burrow. Ghost had found himself a tortis, but he lost it to Emo. As Gothic drew closer he smelled a fimiliar scent. The mystery meerkats was none other than Pumpkin. She was babsyitting Lollipop's pups but she had seen the splinter group and believing they were a rival gang, she quickly scurried inside the burrow to protect the pups. Gothic went up to the burrow and sniff around. It smelled like the Zappa alright. He called for the others to come over while he went inside to find Pumkpin to let her know everything was okay. Ghost emerged and decided to treat himself to a roving trip.. Emo watched him leave. Being female, she had little intrest in roving. Lollipop emerged and soon so did her pups and Gypsy, Emo's daughter. Lollipop was nervouse because so many males were roving. Tiny emerged and followed Lollipop out to forage. Lollipop took the worm from Emo and ate it. Gypsy was old enough to fed for herself. She found a scorpion instead. Lollipop found a crickte and ate it before taking a sentry post. She was hoping to see a rover but instead spotted the whole Young Ones Mob led by new dominant male Alex. Lollipop gave the alarm. With so many males roving the Zappa were weaker. Pumpkin had stayed behind at the burrow and gave birth to four pups. She emerged long after the Zappa had left to go foraging. She wondered if anyone had stayed behind to help her with her pups.
