Prowler made lead calls at Sahara..~Silver!
Sahara had seen Prowler and with the group distracted by Ivy, she sliped away to meet the rover. Royal was scent marking Ivy like crazy.Fanta just sniffed her older sister, confused. Meerkats123 (talk) 00:58, January 3, 2013 (UTC)
When Sahara came over, Prowler mated with her. He groomed her was when he was done. Aqua saw this and started barking.~Silver
Sahara was startled by this, but Prowler had given her what she needed. So, she said her good-byes to the young rover and headed to the Lazuli. It was up to Prowler to decide his own fate now. Meerkats123 (talk) 01:25, January 3, 2013 (UTC)

Buttercup sent marked Ivy as well. It was getting late and a storm was coming in. It would be better if the Lazuli got back to the burrow. However the storm was closing in fast that was Lazuli wouldn't have time to make it back to the burrow in time. Seth spotted another burrow. It would have to do for the night. Cleo, Cupcake, Socks, Markus and Skat Skat followed Seth into the burrow. Ivy soon followed after submitting to her mother. They Lazuli would have to spend the night in this burrow. Rain started pouring down. Aqua, her fur wet, went into the burrow in annoynce. Brouno also went into the burrow, growling as he scented the mongoose.-Silver

The storm conitued long into the night and didn't let up till ealry morning. The air was cold and the grass was went when Cleo got up and joined the other meerkats. One by one Socks, Ivy, Markus and Skat Kat were soon up and emerged. Ivy groomed the dominant female Sahara whiel Socks and Markus play a game of play-fight. After an hour or so of sunning, Seth and the others were ready to go. They waited for Sahara to give the go ahead. Smokey finally warmed up and got borned so in joined in the game with the others to past the time. Ruby sat with her aunt Buttercup and Royal and groomed them. Ivy looked around nervously. She wanted to find a good place to give birth. She still had some time before her pups were due but she was still nervous. Skat Kat was oblivious to Ivy's plight. She was more interested in finding food. Markus wasn't interested in the water. He found a scoprion but Skat Kat stole it from him and ate it. The ground was wet from the rain and there was lots of water around so it was weird that Sahara had led them to the watering troff. Socks and Cleo took sentry post. Aqua took sentry post from a bush. Brouno lazily laid down in the open. While one sentry post, Aqua spotted a lion moving closer to the mob. Aqua, unsure one what to do, let out a quiet bark.~Silver
Lions were rare in the Kalahari, this one must have been a lone male kicked out of it's pride by younger males. Cleo, Cupcake and Markus went for one bolt hole while Socks and Skat Kat dased for another. They planned on waiting out the lion. Aniju Aura (talk) 06:42, January 10, 2013 (UTC)
As soon after they heard Aqua's alarm and saw the lion, Buttercup, Seth and Ruby went for the same bolt hole that Socks and Skat Kat a disappeared in. Smokey, Ruby and Tuxedo dashed for Cleo's bolt hole. They waited for the lion to go somewhere else. Sir Rock (talk) 10:17, January 11, 2013 (UTC)
Only after the lion had left the area it was safe to come out. Cleo emerged from her bolt hole first. Cupcake and Markus soon joined them. Socks, Ivy and Skat Kat were up a thier bolt hole. Buttercup and Smokey went into the burrow to help clean it out. Seth, Rudy and Tuxedo stayed oustide and dug up the burrow's entrance. Sahara soon emerged. She too was showing signs of pregnency. Royal and Fanta emerged a little later. Milton was last up. Sahara led the group out to forage. She led ttem to the riverbed. Sahara ate a giant millipede. Royal and Milton got into a fight over a beatle. Hearing the comotion, Sahara came over and evicted Royal, leaving Milton to enjoy the stolen goods. Buttercup was usedto eviction so she wasn't too bothered. She had joined Royal and Cupcake and was foraging. Seth and Smokey had been on sentry duty for a while and soon jumped down to let someone else take over. Ruby took up a sentry post since she didn't want to get evicted. Tuxedo was busy foraging. Cupcake was with the other evicted females and saw a mob charging at the Lazuli. Frighten she fled. Cleo, Socks and Markus had no time to sound an alarm. Before they knew it the Aztecs were upon them. Socks was attacked by Nero while Markus and Gerald battled. Ivy was pregnant and couldn't afford to fight so she ran towards the burrow. Tryan went for Seth he new dominant male of the Lazuli. Tryan was bigger than Seth but he held his own. Lucas went for a male close to his size and attacked Smokey. Atlas went for Tuxedo while Steampunk went for Ruby even if she was smaller than her. Buttercup saw Ivy break free from the fight scene and decided to follow her back to the burrow. Cupcake followed Buttercup back to the burrow. Markus was no match for Gerald and fled the scene. Nero and Socks on the other hand were in a stalemate even though Nero was bigger. Gaia bit Sahara on the head and shook her. An alarm call cuased her to led go. Rocketeer had seen the wo jackal that the Lazuli had seen before. Gaia barked for everyone to reteat and ran off into Aztecs teritory. Nero, Gerald, Rocketeer and Zotz followed her. While Markus, Cleo, Socks and Skat Kat run int he opposite direction. Seth saw the two jackals agian and ran with the other Lazuli. Smokey soon followed with Ruby and Tuxedo behind him. Tryan, Lucas, Atlas and Steampunk followed the other Aztecs back to their territory. It seemed the jackals were not following either of the mobs. Ivy was happy that some of the meerkast had gone back with her. She didn't really have time to thank everyone. She went into the burrow to give birth to three pups. Meanwhile outside Cupcake was with Buttercup and she watched as some of the meerkats made it back home. Cleo was limping from a wound Rocketeer had left on her front paw. The following day, Seth was up first at the Lazuli burrow. Soon he was joined by Buttercup who had returned to the group. She wans't sure if Sahara would be happy that the evicted females had returned to the group without her permission. Smokey emerged a little later along with Tuxedo and Ruby. Ehe evictees were already back with the group, but that didn't mean they were welcome. Royal knew this and was keeping a low profile. When Sahara emerged, she noticed Royal sulking around. Cupcake volunteered to babysit the pups. She didn't want to get evicted againt so she figured by babysitting she would not be near Sahara and avoid another eviction. Seth, Smokey and Tuxedo followed the dominant female. Buttercup had stayed near the babysitting burrow. She saw that Cupcake was the only one who stayed behind to babysit. She slowly appoached Cupcake. Then she saw the Whiskers advancing towards the burrow. Buttercup warmed Cupcake and went into the burrow to guard her grandchildren. Sir Rock (talk)
Power found the Lazuli territory and saw that the Whiskers were raiding the Lazuli's babysitting burrow. He laid low to avoid detection. He looked around before lying down. When he turned around, a lot of meerkats was there, looking around and thinking what to do. He was in the middle of a burrow raid and many mysterious meerkats along the dunes. He was looking for the nearest bolt hole, but by by the time he found one, the strange meerkats were charging. Power was in the line of crossfire but he instictively ran to the bolt hole, leaving the Whiskers to those meerkats. XBoys (talk) 20:58, February 4, 2013 (UTC)
The Strange meerkats for in fact a second half of the Whiskers, led by Kronos. He had seen Power dash into a bolt hole and thinking he was a Lazuli male, went after him. Mizumie was behind Kronos, however the males had lost sight of Power. Buttercup was in the burrow. She was blocking the way so they Whiskers couldn't get to the pups. Rina was nipping at her. Cupcake was moving the pups to the back of the burrow while Buttercup fend off the Whiskers. Blaze and Goldie were outside at the entrance. Fu Dog started to back up forcing Snickers and Maria out of the burrow. Meanwhile, Nemo and Sherlock were with Kronos and Mizumie looking for the missing Aztec rover they thought was a Lazuli male. Power saw that Kronos ran to catch him. Now four male Whisker meerkats are on his trail. If he runs again, he might not escape. He popped his head out of the bolt hole to see where the Whisker males had gone. Power cant believe that the Lazuli hasnt returned yet. He was thinking about running and going to the Zappas or the Whiskers territory but he still doubts himself. He knows it isnt long before they find him. Buttercup was keeping the Whiskers from entering the burrow. Rina was in front and she wrestled with Buttercup who was bigger. Pipqueak was outside with the others, but was too young to really help out much. He stuck close to his sister Goldie. Maria wanted to go home because there was nothing to do. She nudge Fu Dog a bit so they can go home. Maria then went around the babysitting hole and sat beside the entrance. The splinter group led by Kronos had noticed they were seperated from the Whiskers. Not too fimiliar with the Lazuli's territory he decided their best bet to rejoin the group was to head back to the Whiskers' burrow. Kronos started to led the splinter group meerkats to the babysitting burrow. Mizumie followed him. While Buttercup distracted the Whiskers, Cupcake was busy moving the pups out of the back entrance. None of the Whiskers had found yet. She was moving the three pups to a near by bolt hole. When she came back for the last one she made sound to Buttercup. Fu Dog still in the burrow and trying to find her way to the pups but was unsuccessful. Buttercup couldn't hear Cupcake she was fighting off the Whiskers and her face was blood. Her ear had been torn so she couldn't hear because f the blood in her ear. Meanwhile outside Pisqueak sticking close to Goldie and his mother and noticed that the Whiskers looked a little smaller. Still being a juvinel meerkat he didn't know what that meant. Rina was down in the Lazuli's burrow with Fu Dog and a few others. They didn't know the pups weren't in the burrow anymore. Sir Rock (talk) 10:15, February 10, 2013 (UTC)
Catnip back up when dirty was thrown into her face. She shook her face and looked around. Some movement above her caused her to look up. There was a hawk flying over head. Catnip bark but she was too late. The hawk was drive bombing down towards the Whiskers. Catnip and Goldie dashed for cover in the grass. Fu Dog heard the alarm and thought the Lazuli were returning. Rina started to follow Fu Dog out. Above ground Pipsqueak had fled with his mother and sister to the safety of the tall grass. There were no bolt holds nearby that the Whiskers knew off. He spotted a fallen log and hide underneith. Sir Rock (talk) 10:25, February 10, 2013 (UTC)
Fu Dog emerged with the Whiskers scathering all over the place. Fu Dog followed them into the dust that was kicked up by the meerkats' feet. Catnip and Goldie had followed Pipsqueak to the log and hide, Fu Dog was close behind. Meanwhile at a bolt hole Cupcake was with the pups hiding. There was no sigh of the Whiskers or Buttercup. Rina was the last meerkat out of the burrow. She granced over and saw the hawk had caught something. Rina followed the others and disappeared under the log. Still in the burrow, Buttercup was laying where the Whiskers had left her. She was waiting for the Whiskers, or the Lazuli or somone to come down into the burrow's entrance. Fu Dog saw the hawk. She knew the Whiskers were in danger. She decided that this was enough and the Whiskers should retreat. She began to make lead calls and headed back to the Whiskers' territory to regroup. Catnip and Goldie started to follow Fu Dog. Catnip turned and looked back. Over at the Lazuli, Ivy was oblivious to her pups' plight. She was busy foraging for herself so she could feed her pups. Socks had been on sentry duty after foraging. He had grown bored and decided to try his luck with roving. Socks jumped down allowed Cleo to take over sentry for him and headed off. The Lazuli had been too far away to see the Whiskers or the burrow, Cleo saw no sign of a threat. She did see Royal trailing the group, however she knew Sahara was still pregnant so Royal wouldn't be allowed back into the group till Sahara gave birth. Sahara grabbed a millipede. This would probably be her last meal before giving birth. Milton showed little interest in Socks' roving trip. He was more intrested in staying at home to practice being a good setry. He watched his mother, Royal trail the group. . Sahara knew the Lazuli still had a few good hours to forage, but she needed to get home and give birth. Fanta was the first to arive home. She quickly relized that something was very wrong. Cupcake was waiting for the Lazuli back at the burrow. She had brought Ivy's three pups back to the burrow after the Whiskers left. She had been worried about Buttercup. Seth started to scent mark the burrow to get rid of the Whiskers's scent. Smokey and Tuxedo helped with the scent marking as well. Ruby had gone into the burrow where she own Buttercup had curled up into one of the chambers in the burrow. Ivy cuddled with her pups. Cleo and Cupcake were wating to see what Sahara had wanted to do. The Whiskers now knew where the Lazuli's burrow was and could return. Markus and Skat Kat were helping with scent marking to get rid of the Whiskers' scent. A little later Socks returned from roving unware of what was going on. Fanta made her way into the burrow to see what was wrong. She found Ruby beside Buttercup. Fanta cleaned the blood off of her mother's ear to help confort her. It was getting kind of dark so it would be even more dangerous moving at night. Smokey had gone below ground and to try and get rid of the Whiskers' scent. Seth and Tuxedo were still outside scent marking. Seth spotted Royal, and in the fading light he thought she was a tresspasser, he sounded the alarm. It was the next day. The Lazuli were unable to move burrows because of the fading light. Seth was up first at the Lazuli. He looked around and saw no sign of the Whiskers. The Lazuli had to move burrows today. Ivy's pups were older now with their eyes open but they would still need to be carried. Ruby emerged next and sat with Seth. Smokey and Tuxedo soon emerged a little later and sat together. During the night their mother Buttercup had passed away from her wounds. Sir Rock (talk) 01:46, March 1, 2013 (UTC)
Ivy was sad that her mother died but she was gradeful that her pups were okay. Ivy was the only one of Buttercup's children who had pups so a little bit of Buttercup lived on in the next generation. Cleo remembered that Sahara wanted to make a burrow move but the Lazuli couldnt' because of the faithing light. Cleo picked up one of Ivy's pups, Ivy picked up one of her pups and followed Cleo. Sahara grabbed Ivy's last pup and took charge of the burrow move. Fanta groomed her mother one last time and ran to catch up. milton helped looked for a new burrow.he was the one who spotted one. Ivy's pups were now big enough to go out foraging now. The others were busy cleaning out the burrow and getting ready to go out foraging. Dominant male Seth had scent marked around the burrow. Cleo took a sentry post while Socks foraging nearby. Skat Kat found a worm and started to eat it. Chase came over to her begging for food but Skat Kat was too young to help feed him. Seth and Smokey foraged a bit before they soon got bored. The two males decided to try a little bit of roving. Both males had done much of that. Laika was digging in a hole Tuxedo already had dug. Socks went roving with Seth and Smokey. Even though Markus was now old enough to rove he didn't feel like it. He stayed behind and took a sentry post. Chase tried to follow him up a tree stump. He crawled to the top and looked around. He never had a veiw like this before since he was only a few iches tall. Cleo, Cupcake and Skat Kat were busy foraging. Having just given birth this morning, Sahara was starving. Milton had found a juicy desert toad, but Sahara wanted this delicous meal for herself. Sahara wasn't one to steal food from others, but she was one to make sure her pups got the best food to grow on. She snatched the toad from right under Milton's nose. The Lazuli, like many of the other mobs, were also looking forward to their new pups emergance. Seth, Smokey and Ruby were helping digging out the burrow. The Lazuli were up bring and early. The mob had spent more than a month at this burrow while Sahara's pups were not yet old enough to leaving the burrow. Now that they were going out on foraging trips, it was time for the mob to move burrows. Ruby one of the pups. Laika was with the other pup but she wasn't old enough to carry the pup so seh was waiting for an adult to help. Tuxedo was too excited to help. He was darting around. Sahara led the Lazuli out foraging. Milton and Fanta soon followed. There were ritch pickings today. Sahara took full advantage. She would soon be ready to mate again. Cleo helped Laika with the other pup and when the group had gone out to forage, she gave the pup a grub to eat. Socks too up a sentry post after he ate a millipede. He looked around and it wasn't long before he spotted a hawk over head. He gave the alarm. Cleo grabbed one of the pups and dashed for a bolt hole followed by Markus and Cupcake. After several minutes, Seth and Ruby made their way out of the bolt hole. They looked around and saw that the hawk was gone. Laika was in the same bolt hole as Seth and Ruby and she slowly came out once she was sure the coast was clear. From another bolt hole Smokey and and Tuxedo emerged. With a hawk nearby, Sahara wasn't going to hang around. She led the group out of the area. Not long after, Milton located a new burrow. Sahara moved forward to check it out. Cleo, Cupcake, Socks and Markus started to help out with the remodeling of the burrow. Teenage Skat Kat wasn't too interested in helping out. Nimrod knew the adults wouldn't feed him anymore, like they used to do when he was younger. He started digging, but he found nothing other than a few ants. Nimrod saw his brother eating a centipede, he rushed towards him taking the prize, Nimrod already ate it so his brother couldn't do anything. Nimrod123 June 24, 2013.

Cleo foraged for food while Ivy took a sentry post. There was a food compitition between Skat Kat and Chase over the same millipede till they were able to cut it in half, leaving both meerkats happy. Ruby and Laika were watching the males appoach the Lazuli. At first their instinct was to mob but the females risisted when Sahara and none of the older females seem treaten. As the males got closer it became clear these males were not strangers but in fact were the Lazuli roving males returning. Seth, Smokey and Tuxedo rejoined the group and started scent marking. Devon and his brother finally found the Lazuli group, seeing they were foraging he thought it was the perfect time. Devon proceeded towards the mob hoping to find females. He used some bushes to hide from the males' view, he scanned the group cautiously, locking his glare on the dominant female however he knew it would not be easy being his first time roving. Sahara had her head in the sand. so she couldn't tell that Devon was there. She was digging, giving Nimrod a face full of sand in the process. Milton was was busy preparing a mullipede to eat. Nimrod whimpered annoyed and shaked his fur, then he walked away to forage somewhere else. Chrysalis was still on sentry but she was unaware of the two rovers and also that Fanta wasn't around. Devon saw a female coming to them, obviusly he took the chance and trotted towards Fanta. He began to groom her and attempted to lead her into cover so they wont be seen. Devon bolted off into the tall grass, being rejected, he was pretty disappointed but it was his first time so he shouldn't have expected more than that. After mating with Fanta, Grand noticed Devon leaving. He thought he should get some time alone. Grand was also in his mob's rival territory, which he almost forgot. Cleo was foraging near the edge of the group and dug herself a large hole. She had her head so long in the hole she didn't even notice the Lazuli were leaving her behind. She could hear the contract calls of another meerkat Skat Kat near her, so she believe the rest of the Lazuli were still around her. Unware that the group was leaving both Cleo and Skat Kat behind, Ivy and Chase were foraging with the rest of the group. Markus returned to the group after seeing off the roving males. Hearing Smokey's alarm, Sahara kicked up her back legs, raised her tail high and jumped up and down in a wordance. She started to lead a charge at the Aztecs. The two mistery meerkats were watching the Lazuli. Socks and Markus held their tails high thinking they were rovers. They charged after the meerkats. Cupcake followed in prosuit. The two meerkats took off running, however Socks was able to catch one of the meerkats and the two started restling in the sand. Sahara quickly greeted Cleo and Skat Kat and scent marked them. It was getting late and the Lazuli needed to find somewhere to sleep. The Aztecs had come too close to the current burrow. So Sahara decided it was time to make a fresh start in a new one. Sahara led the Lazuli deeper into their own territory. The group ended up at a burrow that they hadn't used for almost a year. Sahara scent marked the area while Milton worked on the entrances. However, Fanta had other things on her mind. Her pups were due. She curled up in a small chamber and gave birth to two pups. The group began to settled in for the night. Seth, Smokey and Tuxedo had scent marked the burrow's two entrances before turning in for the night. The next morning, Ruby was first up. Soon more and more of the Lazuli meerkats started to wake and come out of the burrow to greet the morning with some sunbathing. Cleo, Cupcake, Markus, Skat Kat and Chase stood in a line. Seth, Smokey, Ruby, Tuxedo and Laika were already heading away from the burrow. Ruby took a sentry post. The grass was wet from the morning dew however it was not yet long because the rains had barely come. Seth dug up a grub and ate it. Smokey found a beetle and Tuxedo ate a worm. Laika was luck and had a millipede all too herself. Once she was done eating her breakface she darted off to find something else. Smokey took over for Ruby on sentry so she could forage. Cleo was foraging in the tall grass. It was still semi dry but with the rains finally here, things were becoming more green. She located a worm and gabbled it up. Skat Kat was on sentry making the watchman song. Cupcake attempted to steal a scorpion from Chase, but he growled and turned his back to her. She would have to find her own breakfast. Glee, who had been humiliated three times already today wasn't going to let an oppertunity like this to slip from his paws. He slowly moved towards a female, until eagle eyed Storm spotted him. He sounded the alarm and for the fourth time today, Glee was chased off. The roving male gave Storm an idea. Seth had noticed that some of the Lazuli were missing. There had been no sign of Sahara all day. Ruby had also taken notice of the absence of the dominant female and several others. It was starting to get dark and with no one the led the group, the splinter group Lazuli were force to take shealther in a nearby bolt hole. Smokey groomed Tuxedo while Ruby sat with Laika. After a stormy night the early morning light brought a greener Kahalari. Larger groups sometimes became seperanted and it seemed the Lazuli had a group split. Storm usually was one of the first to get up, but the super sentry had been more protective of his halved family. As Seth was in the splinter group with him, he hadn't had a chance to take dominance. Sahara's main group was already up and out foraging. Milton had stayed home to babysit Fanta's pups. Since the group split, Sahara had had to spend a lot of time on sentry. The splinter group was doing well on it's own even if a dominant female had not yet been decided. What was clear was that Seth was still the dominant male and like any good leader he was keeping and eye out for his mob. Seth soon spotted meerkats in the grass and gave the alarm. Sahara and her group were finding it a little harder to ajust to life in a small group. Fanta had expected to have plenty of adults to help with her pups and she was finding it a little hard to do most of the work herself, but thanks to the expierienced and helpful paw of Sahara, The Lazuli were starting to get the hang of it. Today they were already gone out to forage and only Milton was at home with the pups. Sahara was on sentry duty when she noticed movement in the grass. Meerkats! Socks started foraging when the group reach their destination. Cleo ate a quick scorpion and took a sentry post along with Ivy. Cupcake gave one of the pups a live scoprion but had bitten off the stinger. The pups needed to learn how to survive in the Kalahari fast. The rains had made the grass tall so it was important that the Lazuli keep track of one another and the smaller pups. The two wrestled in the sand untill Socks was able to break free and darted after the Lazuli. Finally the group was able to rejoin Cleo, Cupcake and the pups. The Lazuli were slowly emerging. It had rained over the night and the clouds over the Lazuli territory were breaking up revealing a bright blue sky. Socks emerged slowly and clecked if it was safe to emerge. Only thing outside the burrow was a couple of ground squirrels. The Lazuli had moved burrows a few days ago after the encounter with the Commandos. They hadn't seen any rival gang since. Ivy was up next and soon Cleo emerged.
