Goldie(VWF042) was born in the Whiskers on October 12, 2001. Her mother was Catnip, a subodrinante female and her father was Tiny, a rover from the Zappa. Goldie was born in a litter of four with two sister Maria(VWF041) and Blossom and one brother Pipsqueak(VWM043). Even though the pups were born to a subordinate female, Goldie and her litter-mates survived their first few weeks and started foraging with the adults. The Whiskers were a large group, one of the biggest, so there were many helpers to feed and care for the pups. In December Catnip and some of the other females were evicted by the dominant female Fu Dog who gave birth to a litter soo after. Catnip was absent from the group at the end of the month. Goldie was the smallest of her litter and she was always seen with her bigger brother Pipsqueak afterwards. Goldie is still alive today in the Whiskers.
