Chrysalis(VLF047) was born on June 9, 2001 into the Lazuli Mob. She was born with a sister Lalia(VLF046) and a brother, Mackerel(VLM048). Her mother was the dominant female, Sahara, but her father was a Commandos rover named Morpheus. They survived their first weeks and then emerged from the burrow for first time. On July their half sister Cupcake gave birth to another litter. Later on the pups went foraging with the adults. Chrysalis and Laila managed to make it to their first year, unlike Mackerel who disappearaed on October. Chrysalis was already an adult, she began contribute in the Lazuli by babysitting the new litters with her sister. Chrysalis is still living in the Lazuli as a subordinate female.
