Pipsqueak(VWM043) was born on October 12, 2001 in the Whiskers. His mother was a subordinate female named Catnip and his father was a roving male named Tiny. Pipsqueak was born in a litter of four, with one brother VWM044 and two sisters Maria(VWF041) and Goldie(VWF042). Even though the pups were born to a subordinate female, Goldie and her litter-mates survived their first few weeks and started foraging with the adults. Pipsqueak was the largest of the pups while his sister Goldie was the smallest in the litter. Pipsqueak and Goldie often hung out together. Soon it wasn't long before Fu Dog became pregnant and started to evicted females from the group. Catnip was evicted along with Bee, Ginger, and Amber in December. Then that same month a large group of Whisker males left the group. Pipsqueak is still alive today in the Whiskers.
