Pretzel (VWM037) was born in the Whiskers on Janaury 20, 2001. His mother was Bee , a suboanate female and his
father was Padfoot, a rover from the Lazuli. He was born with just one litter-mate sister named Popcorn (VWF036). The dominant female at the time was Bee's cousin, Fu Dog. She had lost her litter after an encounter with the Commandos, so she allowed Bee to keep her two pups. Pretzel and his sister survived their first few weeks and started foraging with the adults. The Whiskers were a large group with many adults so the two pups had a good chance at surviving. Soon Fu Dog gave birth to a new litter in May, by then Pretzel was old enough to fed for himself. Bee was later evicted and died of a snake bite on January 3, 2002. By then Pretzel was nearing adulthood. So, this didn't effect him much. Pretzel started roving with the older males while his sister started to become interested in rovers. Popcorn later mated with a rover named William and became pregnant. Shw gave birth to three pups on March 1, 2002. Pretzel is still alive in the Whiskers today.
